| According to the Ethiopian new Registration law wcdo has currently Re-registered. And more over, the organization allowed working in five regions these are SNNPRS, Oromia, Tigray, Benishangul Gumez and Addis Ababa regions.

| New project implementations |

In line with the leading motto’s of addressing vulnerable groups and thematic concern, WCDO has signed an agreement with DVV international, Integrated Women Empowerment Program, IWEP, to address traditionally separated components of Literacy, Livelihood Skill and Economic Support. With that juncture the project is intended to support 1,000 pro– poor illiterate women plus their open to households.
In addition, the organization has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Horn of Africa Regional Network to operate at national level on Energy, Environment and Action Research. Coining that, the organization has started an entry point activities that would track to actual discharge on sustainable energy.
With five organizations engaged in poverty diminution the organization has granted European Commission project to mitigate economic openness of healthy poor.
